Established in 1983, family owned Foster Hydraulics continually upgrades its facilities to make completion of projects, with ever increasing tolerance demands, achievable. Computerization in both the design and machining areas allows Foster Hydraulics to create cylinders which meet your exact specifications from any stage of development, accurately and expeditiously.

In-house machining capabilities allows Foster Hydraulics to maintain the highest quality standards and availability of all hydraulic cylinder components. Foster Hydraulics can produce cylinders with bore diameters from 2 inches up to 16 inches and strokes of up to 180 inches, all manufactured using only the highest quality materials: ground and polished, hard chrome-plated rods with 75,000 and 100,000 min. yield, depending on the customers need; barrel material is St52.3 Grade that is stress relieved annealed; ductile iron glands and pistons; and all welds are certified to A.W.S. B2.1, D1.1 and ASME Section 9 standards.
